This 12 section /1 drawing room car was built by Pullman 1924. It was sold to the Southern Railroad on December 31, 1948 and was used in regular passenger service until March 8, 1965. The car was finally retired to New Orleans and is currently scheduled for future restoration.

"Sea Island" Coach

This car was built by Pullman in 1914 and operated as the Seaboard “Charing Cross.”  In 1930, the car was rebuilt using Plan#4296 and re-named the “Seaboard”  In July 1935, the name as changed to the “Sea Island”

Southern Railway acquired the car in 1955 and operated it as #1045. In 1955 it was converted to a Coach and was later used as a maintenance of way car.

"Glen Pond" Heavy Weight Sleeper

Road Numbers:

This 6 compartment/3 drawing room car was built by Pullman in 1928. It was operated by the Southern Railroad until 1967, when it was acquired by a private owner. The car was finally retired to New Orleans in the late 80′s and is currently scheduled for future restoration.
