Come on out to the LASTA yard on Saturday, August 17th for our quarterly Train Day!

Come see our star attraction, SP 745, as she undergoes her 15 year rebuild.  Ride in our open air gondola car pulled by our vintage diesel engine. Enjoy hot dogs and cool drinks. And while you are here, make a donation to help pay for the rebuild of this significant piece of Louisiana railroad history!

LASTA Train Day is from 2 to 4 pm. Our yard is at the very rear of 1601 Jefferson Highway across from Ochsner Hospital.
