Where Trails Meet Trains: A New Passenger Platform for Garyville

We’re preparing to build a new multi-purpose passenger platform that will serve not only the revived Garyville Northern Railroad, but also become an important part of the Trailhead for the Garyville Pedestrian-Bike Trailhead. 

This new platform will function as both a boarding point for our passenger trains and a welcoming hub for walkers, runners, and cyclists exploring the growing trail system. Designed with accessibility and community in mind, it will be a shared natural space where recreation, history, and railroading all come together.
