A reminder that this Saturday, May 18th from 2 to 4 pm is LASTA’s Quarterly Train Day.

This is an opportunity for LASTA members to come to our rail yard and bring your friends for an afternoon of everything trains.

While our star attraction, SP 745, is out of service for her FRA required 15 year boiler rebuild, there will still be rides using our diesel engines as well as an opportunity to learn what’s required to rebuild 745’s boiler.

There will also be food and drink. LASTA members get in free! LASTA Family Memberships are available to non members and/or donations.

So come on out and support LASTA and SP 745 at our Spring Train Day event.
